On the mac... I'm writing a little utility app that runs as a Status Item in the top menu. There's no reason for this application to have a menu (other than its drop-down menu in the icon of its status item), and certainly no reason to have an icon appear in the dock. How can I (properly) eliminate both? How can I (properly) eliminate both? Try Make Invisible. http://www.monkeybreadsoftware.de/Freeware/MakeInvisible.shtml Source code is included so it can help you doing some customization.
