RB10r1:
For a Plain-Box window, with the Minimize button checked: - In Windows, Window1.Minimize causes the window to minimize - In OSX, Window1.Minimize does nothing. For a Document window with the Minimize button checked, .minimize works on both OSes. 1) Is this a bug? 2) Is there a workaround? I'm building an app that needs the clean lines of the Plain box, without a title bar, but which I can minimize. -Tom _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html> |

Right, It's not part of the OS X design. > 2) Is there a workaround? > I'm building an app that needs the clean lines of the Plain box, without a title bar, but which I can minimize. Why not use Hide / Show as needed rather than Minimize? That would let you keep your design without the need to reinvent the wheel.
