Hello;
This may be a hard question to answer without seeing the code. I built an app with buttons to do various things. Then I said "hey, I don't want these buttons to clutter up the gui, I will put these functions in a pull-down menu". So I do that. The code for the menu handler for the menu bar items is EXACTLY the same as the code for the Action event for the buttons. I even still have the buttons on the gui so that I can test both the buttons and the menu bar items. The buttons always work. Sometimes the menu bar items don't; I have to "press" them several times to get a response. Does this make any sense to anyone? Perhaps that, when I begin the process of pulling down the menu bar itself to access the menu items, this stalls something? Thanks |
