Lennox,

try the other way:

start a simple project who only will do that and see what happens.

IF YOU ARE SURE THAT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IS POSSIBLE WITH MODAL WINDOWS / your development environment.

I do not follow closely this thread, but start to code for a standard window (in your brand new testing project), then, when it works, change the type of the window to be modal.

Been able to cmd-v or Edit-->Paste is one thing, drag and drop can be (very) different.

Have you checked the GUI / Modal special features ?

Well, given that you now know it does work, start breaking down your project
until you find what code you have added to make it not work for you.

Thanks Emile,

I got it working...
Using a timer, I call the modal window at the end of the main window's open event and drag and drop is working.
