I agree with the quality of life in France and Italy! My personal favourite
is Marseille. It would be a nice in-between :) I would invite you all in Montreal (Canada), but it wouldn't be as fun. And Germany is nice too. I wouldn't mind a nice meeting with great local products from Christian's region. MBS and sauerkraut anyone? I'm told there's also great vegetarian food now in Germany. Maybe Christian can give us a little primer on his region's features to make us salivate a bit :) As to what we expect ? I guess nothing too heavy on the brain, since anything technical is often better achieved via the web, tutorials and forums. And so far, posts seem to indicate that people mostly care about meeting for fun, in a nice location. Plus anyway, what do we do for fun? My Girlfriend lives in Bielefeld, My kids raised in Minden NRW (lived in Koeln), I married time ago in Berlin. Everything along the A2. Maybe sometime we meet when I go south. :-) |

But everyone who comes close to my location, can email me. I can help finding a bed (3 or 4 star hotels or a holiday apartment) and take you to a few things to see here. A few nice cities like Colonge with the big cathedral, Trier with the roman buildings, Limburg with the nice midage houses. Hello,
is there interest for a REALbasic user meeting? I never know what REALsoftware or ARBP will do in future, but I could make some event here in Germany. But I'm not sure whether people from Germany, from Europe or around the world would come? What they would expect? Maybe you have some opinion? Greetings Christian |

I am very interested and think for the first try it may be done with not too
much efford in a more regional manner. In my believe it might not affordable for many to travel too far. I would definitely visit an event in a radius of about 200 km around Frankfurt/Main. Such meetings could me organized in different places. We should see how things develop - maybe this could be the start for bigger conventions in the future... To justify a bigger travel it would be necessary to offer a great agenda - maybe quite ambitious for a start.
